Planned Parenthood Proud Of Their Abortion Work:One Every 94 Seconds in 2011

It seems that Planned Parenthood is very happy with the work they do when it comes to giving abortions. In fiscal year 2011, Planned Parenthood claims that they preformed over 330,000 abortions, or one every 94 seconds! This is detailed in their report, which can be found here.

It is odd, at least for me, when we hear that Planned Parenthood is much more than some abortion factory, they are much more than that! This is what we are told, probably because they get federal funding and it is very clear that federal money should not be paying for abortions. It happens anyway, and the lawmakers in Washington have no spine to tell Planned Parenthood to knock it off or lose the funding. Of course Democrats will never do that, but the Republicans in the House could! But seeing the way they handled the debt discussion, I doubt they are really ready for any kind of fight where they show any backbone at this time.

It is clear that Planned Parenthood is shoving it into the faces of Americans who find their practices less than ethical, to say the least. This is what happens when we allow organizations like this, that were formed to do just as they are doing today, to run all over us as if we cannot do anything about it. I do not care where you stand on the abortion issue. You could be for abortions and as many abortions as we can do in a year. The fact of the matter is my tax dollars should not be paying for it, and neither should your tax dollars!

You have to be some kind of fool to believe that they are not. When these groups get federal funding there is almost no way of telling which funds went to which program. There is no GPS chip on the funds, it just does not work like that. These groups get the money and do what they please with it, and Planned Parenthood can use the money on abortion services without even drawing the attention of the Feds because they do other things as well. This is how groups like this hide their true intentions from the nation, and what happens when people believe what they are told in the media, from their Representatives, or the group itself.

It is about time we had a serious discussion, especially in times when we need all the money we can get, about cutting funding to anywhere that gives abortion services. There is just no way of telling where the money is being spent, so why not tell these groups that if they preform these procedures then they will not be getting the funding. Planned Parenthood could split their operation into another part, run by different people, and preform their procedures if they see fit to do so but without the funding from the organization. If you feel that people should be able to have abortions on demand, then donate to them and stop using MY MONEY to preform procedures I am against!
